Installation
Install AiHide in the desktop browser you use for Google Search and keep its controls within reach.
Choose your browser
AiHide is available for desktop Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox. Choose the official listing for the browser where you search. Installing it in one browser or profile does not add it to another.
- Open the official listing using the matching button below.
- Confirm installation if you accept the requested access.
- Return to your browser’s extensions menu and find AiHide.
AiHide is currently free to install and does not require an AiHide account.
Put AiHide within reach
Pin the extension if you want a shortcut to its popup. In Chrome, open the Extensions menu and use the pin beside AiHide. In Edge, use the Extensions menu to show it in the toolbar. In Firefox, use the extension’s menu to pin it to the toolbar.
You can also open AiHide from the extensions menu without pinning it. Pinning changes where you find the controls; it does not change the selected display mode.
After installation
Open AiHide and choose a mode for AI Overview and AI Questions. Both categories default to Hide. If a Google results tab was already open when you installed the extension, reload that tab before checking the result.
Using a phone? AiHide is offered for desktop browsers. Chrome’s Add to Desktop action does not run the extension on Android or iPhone.
