Install and pin Email Extractor
Install Email Extractor in Chrome, Edge or Firefox, pin it to your toolbar and open your first email list.
Install from your browser store#
Choose the official store for your desktop browser below. Review the listing and permissions, then complete installation in the store. Install Email Extractor in the browser profile where you plan to work: settings and saved results belong to that profile.
After installation, return to a website tab. If it was already open, refresh it so the extension can work with the newly loaded page.
Pin the extension#
In Chrome, open the Extensions puzzle menu and click the pin beside Email Extractor. In Edge, open Extensions and use the control to show Email Extractor in the toolbar. In Firefox, open the Extensions menu, then the menu beside Email Extractor and choose Pin to Toolbar.
The animation shows the Chrome steps. Pinning is a shortcut: you can also open Email Extractor from the Extensions menu without pinning it.
Open Email Extractor on a webpage#
Open a regular HTTP or HTTPS webpage you are allowed to access. Wait for the contact information to load, then click the Email Extractor icon. The popup finds addresses automatically; there is no separate Start scanning button for a single page.
Select the addresses you want to keep, then choose Copy, Export or Save. The Open dashboard shortcut leads to Scan history, Bulk scanning, Auto Collection, Saved emails and Stats.
- Open a contact page, team page or another page containing email addresses.
- Expand relevant sections or scroll to load the content.
- Click the Email Extractor toolbar icon.
- Review the list and select the addresses you need.
- Copy, export or save your selection.
Allow access to the pages you choose#
If a normal website is blocked, open your browser extension settings and review Email Extractor site access. Reload the website after changing permissions. Browser settings pages, extension pages and extension stores may remain protected.
To scan a local HTML file in Chrome or Edge, enable Allow access to file URLs in the extension details, then open the HTML file in that browser. Firefox handles file access through its own permissions. Private browsing and managed work profiles may require additional browser or administrator approval.
If the icon is missing#
Check that Email Extractor is enabled in the current browser profile, then look for it in the Extensions menu. A browser with several profiles can have different extensions and local results in each profile.
Try the access checks before reinstalling. Removing the extension can remove its local data, so export a backup first if you have results to keep.
