Scan a list of URLs automatically
Scan up to 1,000 supplied URLs with Premium, combine email addresses, pause a run and review its results in Scan history.
Prepare your URL list#
Open the dashboard and choose Bulk scanning, then URL list scan. Paste one complete HTTP or HTTPS URL per line. Include the pages you want to inspect explicitly, such as contact, team and directory pages.
Premium accepts up to 1,000 valid URLs per run. The Free demo accepts up to 10 URLs and exposes a preview of three unique addresses. Invalid lines do not count as valid URLs; an over-limit list must be shortened before the run can start.
- Open Bulk scanning and choose URL list scan.
- Paste one complete page URL per line.
- Check the valid URL count and Advanced options.
- Select Start scanning.
- Review the combined results when the run finishes.
Choose loading and filtering options#
Choose Full HTML or Visible text in this workflow. Open Advanced options for domain, suffix, included words, blacklisted domains and Skip system emails. These are separate from the popup preferences.
Each URL is opened in a background browser tab. The default wait is five seconds per page; Wait longer for pages to load increases it to ten seconds. A slow site may still need manual review, especially if contacts appear only after interaction.
Follow, pause or stop the scan#
Progress shows the current URL, pages processed, unique addresses and failed pages. Pause holds the run until you resume it. Stop ends the run and saves the results collected so far.
You can switch to another dashboard section and return while the dashboard tab remains open. Keep that tab, the browser and its temporary scan tabs available. Closing or reloading the dashboard is not a resumable background job.
Review the combined result set#
The run combines repeated addresses and keeps their source pages. Open the result details to inspect the records you can access, select useful addresses and copy, export or save them.
A failed page is different from a page with no matching email. Review failures separately. A stopped run contains partial results and should not be treated as a completed scan of the full input list.
Understand the demo and scan history#
Free results remain limited to the three-address preview regardless of the export format. Premium unlocks complete available Bulk results. Temporary full demo data is not included in a backup, and only the permitted preview is retained after a browser restart; rerun with Premium when you need a complete persistent result.
Non-empty runs appear in the URL list category of Scan history. The number of stored runs has its own retention limit, separate from the number of URLs you can scan in one run.
When to scan the whole website instead#
A URL list scan reads the URLs you supply. It does not discover every linked page on their domains. Choose Whole website scan when you want to start with one website URL and discover public pages automatically.
